In order to extend the service life of the sock printer and ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment, good maintenance is very important. This article mainly introduces the maintenance and care of the sock printer.
1.Linear Guide Rail
Socks printer cartridge linear slide needs to be lubricated with solid grease every 2 weeks to prevent the guide rail surface from rusting, which will cause excessive friction between the internal components and the guide rail when the slider moves, thereby causing damage.

2.Ink Pad Replacement
Digital Socks Printing machine ink pad should be replaced every three months to prevent the rubber parts on the ink pad from aging or being damaged. This can prevent the nozzle and ink cartridge from entering air when they are closed, causing the ink to dry out faster and damaging the nozzle. If the printer is used frequently, It is necessary to replace the ink pad according to the actual situation

3.Wipe the print head Every Day
Before leaving work every day, gently wipe the socks print head with a non-woven fabric.
Using a wet tissue to wipe off the ink around the print head (do not use that tissue paper to wipe the print head).
Also clean the top of the operating platform of the machine by using a slightly wetting towel.

4.Lubricate the grease
Regularly apply solid lubricating grease to the both sides of the socks printer drive systems each month (mainly focusing on the belt gears) to prevent belt dry wear and extend the belt’s longivity.

5.Replace the ink damper
Digital socks printer needs replace the ink damper every 2-3 months (the ink damper has a filtering function, it would be clogged for the inside of filter strainer by the debris in the ink if it is not be replaced for a long time; therefore would impact the fluency of the ink flows, also the nozzels would be easy to be clogged by the debris once with high pressure to be forced inhale the debirs back to the nozzel to be clogged for the nozzel channel.)
6.Notice for adding ink
When adding ink to the sock printer, try not to pour the ink completely with the bottom left over ink, because the ink will have extremely small sediments in the static state. If the ink accumulates in the main ink cartridge for a long time, we suggest to replace or clean the mainm ink cartridge and the secondary ink cartridge once a year (it must be cleaned with pure water during cleaning).

7.Waste Ink tank checking
Regularly check the waste ink tank every 3-4 days to prevent excessive overflow of waste ink.

8.Ink pump checking
Regularly check the operation status of the ink pump (check if the ink inlet and outlet pipes are loose).
Ink pump checking
9.Voltage Stabilizer is necessary
Each machine is strongly recommended to be used with the voltage stabilizer (to prevent damage to electronic components caused by unstable input voltage).

10.Limit Sensor Checking
Periodically check the limit sensor of the ink stack, especially at the insertion point, to prevent ink seepage from causing sensor damage

11.Lubricate the support of the cylinder& Clean it
The six support of the cylinder need to be lubricated with liquid lubricating oil every 3 months, and clean it before leaving work every day (there are seals in the cylinder, impurities entering will damage the seals and shorten the life of the cylinder).
