Also, there must be majority people would ask that why the sock heel and toe parts are black color always?
So, let us find out today whether the sewn socks could be printed and whether the heel and toe parts could be with other colors instead of black color only?
Can ready sewn socks be printed with the sock printing machine?
The answer is definitely Yes!
Ready sewn socks can be printed by the socks printer without any doubts. As long as the heel of the ready sewn socks is not particularly large, when the socks is put on the rotary roller of the socks printer, the heel can be stretched without any space gap left over from the socks itself and the roller. Then it would be no problem at all for socks printing. Of course, We would like to remind here that it would be very high risks for the printhead if the space at the sock heel to the roller is large. Once the printhead surface was been touched with the socks fiber during printing, thereby damaging the printhead instead. Therefore, the shape of the heel of ready sewn socks must be considered during the socks knitting process, and the construction at heel part can be appropriately narrowed to facilitate later printing operations.
Why are the heel and toepart at ready sewn socks always being black?
Actually, it depends on the material used for the socks.
If the customer can accept the components of the heel and toe of the sock are different from the main part of socks. For example: the main part of socks is made of 100% cotton, and the yarn for heel and toe is with the material of polyester. In this way, even when the sock heel and toe is stained with the ink color during the printing process, it could be optimized well during later the finishing process and could not be seen. Just like the ink never comes on the heel and toe part. So under this circumstance, the heel and toe are no longer just black, but it can be any color you want, or it can be left with white color to print with colors matching the whole design without any break at the heel and toe part.
However, once the overall composition of the socks is same, then the heel and toe of the printed socks must be black.
For example, a pair of socks made of polyester, because there is no difference of material for the whole socks, so finishing process could not be different treatment. Therefore, heel and toe part would be kept black.
But why it must be black and not other colors else? This is because even if the printing ink is stained on the black, it would be invisible. However, any other color out of black, it would be more or less left over on it and it must be visible then. So for the good out looking for print socks, we take black heel and toe part as optional choice.
